Video: Joe Jordano

In addition to previewing the Big East Tournament, Pitt head coach Joe Jordano talks about the prospect of losing players to the upcoming Major League Baseball Draft.

The Pitt baseball team ended its 2013 regular season in a disappointing fashion, getting swept at the hands of the Louisville Cardinals.

But still, optimism surrounds the program. The team still earned a No. 3 seed for the Big East Tournament, where they will open play on Wednesday against St. John's at 10 a.m.

Should the Panthers win Wednesday, they would face the winner of the Seton Hall-Notre Dame game, Thursday at 1 p.m.

Jordano took some time on Monday morning to speak with us, before heading off to Clearwater.
