O'Neill Commits To Panthers

Pitt coaching staff turns to Salesianum (DE) standout Brian O'Neill for its 12th commitment of the 2014 class. O'Neill was a two-way standout

Pittsburgh added another versatile player to its 2014 class, on Saturday, as Salesianum (DE) tight end/defensive end Brian O'Neill committed to the Panthers.

O'Neill was a two-way all-state performer for Salesianum, helping them all the way to the state championship game in 2012. He came to Pitt for an unofficial visit two weeks ago, and chose the Panthers over offers from Tulane and Old Dominion.

Here is a look at what O'Neill did as a junior:

O'Neil becomes the 12th commitment of the 2014 recruiting class for Pitt, and the tenth player to commit this week, alone. Of the 12 committed players, they hail from seven different states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Michigan, Connecticut, Virginia, Delaware).

Stay tuned for more on O'Neill's commitment to Pitt.
