Friday Night Prospect Update

Pitt commits Avonte Maddox and Adam Bertke off and running.

A few updates on some Pitt commits and targets from Friday:

Rori Blair finished with five tackles, two for losses, a sack and a blocked punt that went out of the end zone for a safety. Upper St. Clair defeated Woodland Hills 16-10. In a losing effort, sophomore running back Miles Sanders rushed for 96 yards on nine carries and a touchdown.

Elijah Zeise caught four passes for 129 yards in North Allegheny's 55-7 win over Mount Lebanon.

Shai McKenzie rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns in Washington's 26-14 win over Greensburg Central Catholic.

2015 star Jordan Whitehead rushed seven times for 56 yards in Central Valley's 29-6 win over New Castle.

Jamil Kamara caught two touchdown passes, helping Bishop Sullivan (VA) Catholic to a 62-41 win over First Flight (NC).

Sto-Rox opened with a 42-0 win over Shenango. Quarterback Lenny Williams threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns. Brendan Blair rushed for 75 yards with two touchdowns.

Pitt commit Adam Bertke completed 11-of-22 passes and three touchdowns, lifting Marion Local to a 42-7 win over Shawnee.

Avonte Maddox had a monster game--seven catches for 161 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned a punt 54 yards for a score, helping Detroit (MI) to a 54-14 win over Port Huron.
