It may be a few weeks before we'll see P.J. Fulmore back in action.
Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic's (PA) running back/cornerback tweaked his ankle in the first game of the regular season. After being held out as a precaution, it's possible Fulmore could be back in action in just a few weeks.
Meanwhile, Fulmore is also embarking on his junior year of recruitment. He kicked things off by checking out the Pitt-Florida State game last week. Despite the loss, he said the Pitt coaching staff made him feel quite welcome.
Fulmore did well enough, he got bumped up into working with the 'A' group, or top group, at cornerback.
"Miami was good, at first they broke us up into age groups," Fulmore explained. "I went through the defensive back drills. They put us against the 'A' group of receivers, then put me with the 'A' group of corners when I went back for one-on-ones.
"It was really nice. I got a chance to see the facilities, locker rooms, equipment rooms. I like the coaches there. I felt like I did pretty good."
As a sophomore in 2012, Fulmore rushed for 1,824 yards.
