Pitt Players Sound Off after Navy Loss

In just the first half against Navy, Devin Street became the all-time receiver at Pitt and the Panthers were dominating the Midshipmen on both sides of the ball. But by the end of the fourth, Pitt lost control of the game and fell to Navy, 24-21.

Redshirt senior quarterback Tom Savage threw for 207-yards and completed 20-27 passing, including two touchdown passes and a two-point conversion. Some Pitt perspective on Savage's performance, he completed just 11-17 passing last week against Old Dominion.

Redshirt senior wide receiver Devin Street had a career game with nine catches for 96-yards. Street had an impact on the field and in the record books against Navy.

Street had one touchdown catch and the two-point conversion. Street is now the all-time receiver at Pitt with 186 career catches. He also passed Larry Fitzgerald for fourth all-time in career receiving yards at Pitt.

Junior running back Isaac Bennett capped off last week's performance of 240-yards by rushing for 77-yards on 22 carries.

Redshirt junior lineman Bryan Murphy recorded five total tackles, including two tackles for a total loss of 12-yards. Murphy also had one sack on Navy's mobile quarterback, Keenan Reynolds.

Redshirt junior linebacker Todd Thomas led the team with a total of nine tackles and seven solo tackles.
