It wasn't the ending Brendan Blair was looking for, for his high school career. Taking some time to reflect, following his team's 14-0 loss in the WPIAL Class A title game, there's already some things he's grateful for.
"These guys are my brothers for life," referring to fellow seniors Lenny Williams and Mallory Claybourne. "We showed pride, heart. We made it to the championship, but just couldn't accomplish that goal. I'm proud to just put on that jersey."
"I have no idea," Blair added. "Nobody's really showing interest right now. If somebody comes in, I will make my visits, then hopefully make my choice when that time comes."
Blair was the top receiving threat for either team in Saturday's championship game. He finished with six catches for 92 yards. He racked up 7.5 tackles on defense, including 1.5 tackles for loss.
For the season, Blair finishes with 753 yards rushing with 17 touchdowns on the season, while hauling in another 23 passes for 332 yards.
