Video: Player Reaction

Pitt players Lamar Patterson, James Robinson, Cameron Wright and Talib Zanna talk about their opening game of the NCAA Tournament, and the week they had in Greensboro at their first ACC Tournament.

On Selection Sunday, Pitt players and coaches gather at the Petersen Events Center to watch the Selection Show live, where they get first word of who they will be playing, where and when.

While the Panthers seemed more sure of their chances of making the NCAA Tournament, thanks to their performance at last week's ACC Tournament, players barely had a chance to sit down, as they quickly learned their opponent.

"I didn't even see it," Lamar Patterson said. "It happened so fast, I didn't even realize it."

In fact, that was probably the biggest story line out of Pitt receiving the NCAA Tournament bid. The announcement happened so fast, when they spoke to the media, players were still trying to learn about their second-round opponent, Colorado.

"They got good players, we have to be ready," James Robinson said.

Pitt's game with Colorado is set for 1:40 pm EST in Orlando, and will be televised on TBS.
