Pro-Am League: Championship Set

Another 30-point game from Mike Young, who will play for a Pro-Am League championship on Wednesday.

Wedensdays championship game for the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Pro-Am League has been set. Shale Attorney and System One will square off Wednesday at 7:15 pm, at the Montour Athletic Complex.

From last place to the championship game, Shale Attorney advanced with a 106-98 win over South Hills Audi.

Shale Attorney continues its remarkable run after losing its first five regular season games, before winning its regular season finale, followed by its first two playoff games.

Eric James led the way with 27 points, followed by Rene Castro win 24. Pitt's Aron Nwonkwo added 10 in the win. James and Castro were a collective 19-30 from the field.

Pitt's Sheldon Jeter added 30 points and seven rebounds in the loss, shooting an impressive 13-22. Playing with his cousin Lance Jeter one last time, the elder Jeter finished with 15 points and 12 assists. He finished the summer with 16, 15 and 12 assists in his final three games of the summer. Pitt freshman Cameron Johnson added 17 points in the loss, including a trio of three-pointers.

System One 95 PGT 90

Mike Young added to his impressive list of performances this summer, with another 30-point performance. Young shot 11-15 from the field, and also pulled down nine rebounds. Robinson added 14 points and dished out 10 assists.

Micah Mason also finished in double-figures for System One, with 22, followed by Marquese Reed with 13.

PGT had strong outings from Lucky Jones and Josh Newkirk. Jones led the way with 36 points in the loss, followed by Newkirk with 24. Jones was also a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line.
