After rushing for 158 yards and four touchdowns in the team's 62-0 win over Delaware, Conner was named ACC Offensive Back of the Week. He could very well win the award for a second week in a row, which will be announced late Monday morning.
Conner's performance this year has sparked the Pitt running game to 356 yards a game in its first two games, good enough for fourth in the nation among all FBS schools. Individually, he ranks fourth in the country with 183.5 yards a game.
Pitt returns to action Saturday, when they travel to Miami to take on Florida International at noon, looking for their first 3-0 start since 2009.
