"He's probably going to be taking an official up there this weekend," Riverdale Baptist coach Ceasar Nettles said. "Then, next week he's either going to take an official with Maryland or Penn State, or it might be West Virginia. We haven't decided yet.
"Maryland has been by to see him a few times, and they are really interested."
A Jan. 29 visit to Penn State is possible, and the Nittany Lions already know plenty about Scott. He made an unofficial visit to campus in late February, and his teammate, Zechariah McPhearson, is committed to Penn State.
"Penn State is coming by," Nettles said. "He made an unofficial up there and he liked them a lot. West Virginia is also coming by, and he made an unofficial visit there as well. He liked it a lot there as well."
Nettles added a lot of the schools backed off Scott when he committed to the Wolverines in early August. With him back on the market and schools trying to finalize their classes -- and fill needs -- several of getting back in contact with him.
"A lot of schools were off of him because he was committed to Michigan for so long, but a lot of those schools liked him before," Nettles said. "Now that he is available, schools are now coming in on him."
