Pitt receives No. 10 seed, faces Wisconsin in NCAA Tournament

Pitt received a No. 10 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will face Wisconsin Friday.

Pitt is back in the Big Dance.

The Panthers were tabbed as the No. 10 seed in the East region as they learned their NCAA Tournament fate Sunday. A matchup with No. 7 Wisconsin awaits Friday in St. Louis, Mo.

After Pitt missed the tournament last season, the Panthers 21-11 record and 9-9 ACC mark was enough to get them back into March Madness. Head coach Jamie Dixon leads Pitt into the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time in his 13 seasons.

North Carolina received the East region's No. 1 seed. Pitt's bracket also features Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Notre Dame and Xavier.
