The ACC and Pitt released the Panthers’ ACC basketball schedule Monday.
As it stands, dates and times are now listed alongside each game, both in the nonconference and conference schedules.
Pitt will play Louisville, North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia at what the athletic department is labeling as a “revamped” Petersen Events Center.
Pitt opens conference play against Notre Dame at the Pete on New Year’s Eve at either noon or 2 p.m. After that, it’s Virginia (Jan. 4), Miami (Jan. 14), Louisville (Jan. 24) [ESPNU], Clemson (Jan. 28), Syracuse (Feb. 11), Virginia Tech (Feb. 14) [ESPN/ESPN2], Florida State (Feb. 18) [ESPN/ESPN2] and North Carolina (Feb. 25) that will all roll through the Petersen Events Center.
On the road, Pitt travels to Syracuse (Jan. 7), Louisville (Jan. 11), North Carolina State (Jan. 17) [ESPNU], North Carolina (Jan. 31) [ESPN2], Duke (Feb. 4) [CBS], Boston College (Feb. 8), Wake Forest (Feb. 22), Georgia Tech (Feb. 28) [ESPNU] and Virginia (March 4).
All 18 conference games will be shown on television in some capacity. Some will be picked up by a FOX Sports affiliate, while others will be broadcast on ACC Sports Network. The conference schedule is capped off by the ACC Tournament, which will be held from March 7-11 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Ny., for the first time ever.
