Panthers travel to Philadelphia to take on the Temple Owls

Temple is coming off a 45-3 loss to Syracuse last week. The Owls are 1-2 in the conference and 2-4 overall this year. Tanardo Sharps is the Owls top RB. He averages 3.4 yards per carry and has 272 yards on 80 carries. Mike Mcgann is the starting QB, He is 53 of 118 for 647 yards and 3 TD's and 7 picks. The top WR for the Owls is Sean Dillard who has 22 catches for 410 yards. Bowling Green scored 42 points against them, Toledo 33 points, and Navy 26 points, which should mean our offense, should be able to put points on the board. Dan Klecko leads the defense with 4 sacks and  13 tackles for Loss. Raheem Brock is their leading DB with 10 pass breakups, which is 2nd in the Big East. Pitt is coming off an embarrassing 45-7 loss to Boston College, which prompted Coach Harris to call off practice till Tuesday. The coach asked the players to take a deep look at themselves and not to come back unless they are 100% intent on working hard to improve themselves and the team. Temple is favored by 1.5 points, which tells you the shape of the team at this point. Pitt has struggled against Temple for the last 10 years and Always has a hard time playing on the Owls home field. Questions to be answered Saturday: Will the team play with heart and desire? Will they be able to overcome any adversity they encounter during the game or will they just pack it in like they did against Syracuse and Boston College? Will they be able to keep from turning the ball over and also stop the big play when they are on defense? The weather calls for rain, plus windy and cold, so whoever can run the ball the best and stop the run, plus keep the turnovers from happening, will most likely win the game.
