Dorien Bryant will make his decision next week

Fork Union-VA wide receiver Dorien Bryant was a 2003 commitment to Boston College, but instead attended Fork Union Military Academy. Dorien played his prep ball at Kingsway Regional High School in Swedesboro,NJ. This past season Bryant led Fork Union to an 8-4 record with 29 receptions and 9 touchdowns.

I managed to speak with Dorien's mother Teresa; she said Dorien would most likely decide his college choice next weekend while on winter break. He will decide between Pittsburgh, Purdue, North Carolina State and Boston College.

Dorien Bryant was primarily recruited by RB coach Dino Babers, but was recently visited at school by Head Coach Walt Harris.

Teresa said, "He likes the facilities, the passing game, and he's developed a relationship with Coach Babers."

Dorien would like to major in Broadcasting, Sports Medicine, or Small Business. He is due to graduate from Fork Union on May 22. He will also run track this spring to stay in shape for football.

When asked about Pitt's reputation as Wide Receiver "U" with Fitz and Antonio Bryant, she said, "That is definitely something we've discussed, and it helps Pitt's cause."

Bryant also has offers from Florida, Michigan, and Michigan State.
