Johnny Peyton, who originally gave a verbal commitment to Pittsburgh, will visit Penn State on Thursday, and then move on to West Virginia over the weekend.
West Virginia will send head coach Rich Rodriguez and an assistant to visit Peyton on Wednesday before he visits them.
Peyton likes the direction that the Mountaineer program is heading.
"West Virginia is a strong big East presence now and I really like how the program is coming along."
Pittsburgh and South Florida are still the top two teams in Peyton's mind, however, and once again he considers the Panthers the favorite.
"If I had a favorite right now, it would be Pitt."
