Haulman benches 350, squats 520 and maintains a 3.5 GPA. He is garnering early interest from Pitt, Iowa, Maryland, Boston College, Virginia, Illinois, Florida and Northwestern".
So, who are his early favorites?
"It's really too soon to tell. I guess right now I like them all equally. I just want to play college ball, but would like to make a decision early on."
Haulman was 1 of 38 high school juniors to participate in the US Army All-American Junior Combine in San Antonio, TX.
"The 40 times seemed to be way off, even the faster guys said that was the worst times they'd ever been clocked at."
Zach Haulman was an Honorable mention Associated press, PA Sportswire, and PA Football News AAAA All-State selection, 1st Team All-Conference, Altoona Mirror Dream team, and a member of the Allegheny football conference Top 40 team.
So, what is Zach doing now?
"I used to play basketball, but right now I'm concentrating on lifting, taking time off my 40, and just trying to make myself the best player I can be."
Haulman is coached by Phil Riccio.
"Zach is tough and he is very versatile. He can play all 3 positions on the line, I am sure he'll be getting lots of D-1 attention this fall."
While he has not decided which camps or junior days he plans on attending as of yet, this looks to be a very busy year for Mr. Haulman!
