Faith will guide Dunbar big man

Usually when interviewing players and speaking to their respective families, you hear they want to go to a big time program, or they want to make the All-Star team. It is refreshing too meet a young man and a family that look a little deeper into things than that.

I met those people in the Wiggins' family. They take their faith and spiritual beliefs very seriously and feel that is what will guide 6'8", 320 OT Kevin Wiggins to the university that suits him best.

Wiggins of Dunbar High School, DC is perhaps the highest rated lineman in the Metro area. He has offers from Pittsburgh, Maryland, and Penn State. He is hearing from Miami, Florida, Virginia, Ohio State, Syracuse just to name a few.

Kevin grew up as a Penn State fan.

He was named 1st team All-Metro, 1st Team All-Conference and the George Michael Golden Eleven.

Here are some excerpts from my recent interview with Kevin Wiggins.
