Ohio DB moves Panthers to top of the list

Pittsburgh got rave reviews for their Junior Day this past weekend and one of the most impressed was Canton (OH) McKinley defensive back, Brad Jones. How impressed?

"I really hope they make me an offer," says Jones. "I would probably verbal on the spot if offered. No questions asked."

Jones is also being recruited by Ohio State, Purdue, and Northwestern, but Junior Day made a huge impression.

"It was ten times better than Ohio State's Junior Day, " says Jones. "It was very informative and they showed a lot of interest in me. All of the coaches were so nice and the facilities were awesome. Pitt is way ahead of Ohio State now. I can see myself playing for them."

Brad Jones, considered one of the better athletes in Ohio, runs the 40 in 4.48 seconds, benches 315 pounds, and has an excellent 36" vertical jump.
