PA TE looking to be a Panther

Describing his Pittsburgh visit as "excellent", one Pittsburgh area TE says Pitt has increased the lead for his services.

Scott Uziel from Franklin Regional HS in Murrysville, PA, says he wants to be a Panther. The 6'4" 245 pound TE with 4.75 speed visited Pittsburgh for Junior Day on March 6th, and came away with a strong impression.

"That's the place I want to go," says Uziel, who claims his first words as a baby were "Go Pitt". Uziel, whose high school team's nickname is the Panthers, did not receive an offer yet, but was eager for one at Junior Day.

"I didn't get one yet but I was hoping," laughs Uziel.

An excellent student with a 3.5 GPA, Uziel now favors Pittsburgh even more strongly over Penn State, Michigan, Virginia, and Notre Dame.
