PA QB currently has list of six

The consensus top QB in PA for the Class of 2005 is starting to see his recruitment heat up.

Bill Stull of Seton LaSalle HS in Pittsburgh was at Pitt's spring practice last weekend with teammate Carmen Connolly and this past weekend, Stull traveled down to Morgantown for West Virginia's Junior Day.

Bill Stull liked the visit very much and said that Rich Rodriguez told him that he would come and watch him work out at the Metro Index Football Camp in Pittsburgh in May.

Stull's, dad, Bill, Sr., said West Virginia's Junior Day was "impressive", and added," Great facilities Everything is in one place. And it seems that they have great fan support."

Stull says his favorites in order, as of now, are Ohio State, Mississippi, Michigan State, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, and Akron. Only Kentucky and Akron have offered so far, though Seton LaSalle coaches think a Pitt offer may come very soon.

The next step for Stull is at Pitt's Blue Chip Junior Day on April 3rd. And will Pitt move up if they show Stull what he wants to see?

"Oh yeah," said Stull. "Definitely. I was born in Ohio so I am an Ohio kid, but I am a Pennsylvania kid, too."

"I think some people think we are not interested in Pitt but that's simply not true," says Stull, Sr. "As I said, we are Ohio State fans, but whatever school fits Billy best is the choice no matter who it is."

Mississippi and Michigan State asked for, and received phone calls from Stull. He has interest in both, but as always the former Poland, Ohio natives want a Buckeye offer most of all. So much so that they switched from the Nike Camp at Penn State to the Nike Camp in Columbus.

After Pitt and the Nike Camp, Stull's next stop will be Elite 11 tryouts at Georgia Tech on May 7th.
