Looks like a two team battle for Buchtel DB

A couple of weeks ago it looked as if the University of Pittsburgh may have been close to their 2nd commitment for 2005. That was until Ohio State cast their iron in the fire. DB Bryan Williams, 6-0, 187, 4.3 Buchtel High School Akron OH, has been getting attention from the Buckeye staff.

"I really like Pitt, but being from Ohio I have to hear what OSU has to say, they have yet to offer me. They have said they'd like to see me at their camp and then they will decide," said Williams.

Williams' big debate right now is that he wants early playing time, and he feels at Pittsburgh he will get that. His parents however like OSU and would like their son to be a Buckeye. Pittsburgh is actively recruiting his high school teammates Carlos Parrish and Cyrus Kersey, which may aid the Panthers' cause.

"I would like to play with my friends; I'm good friends with Tim Murphy and Steve Walker at Pittsburgh. I am good buddies with Antonio Pittman at OSU as well."

"If OSU offers, I am going to have a very tough decision to make, I like both schools. I really can't lose which ever way I decide."

Williams will attend the Nike Combine at Ohio State next weekend and the Adidas camp at Notre Dame on May 8th. This summer Bryan has his sights set on 3 different camps - Ohio State, Pittsburgh, and Michigan.

Bryan just concluded the indoor track season where he had a season-best time in the 55 meters of 6.4 seconds. He is now competing in outdoor track for the Griffins.
