South Florida Prospect Heading To Pittsburgh ?

Miami (Fla.) Northwestern is a football factory. Over the past few years, the Bulls have placed players at some big-time programs, such as Miami, Florida and Florida State. This year is no different with several division 1A prospects on the roster. One of those talented players is going to give Pittsburgh a look.

"I like their program," middle linebacker Adam Coffee said. "I briefly talked to one of their coaches last year when they were down here visiting Trevor Ford and Khalil Jones at the school. I'm thinking of making a visit to Pittsburgh."

Others schools on the 6-foot-2 and 235 pounder's list are Miami, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Ohio State.

"Miami was my favorite team growing up," Coffee, who might play with his hands down in college," said. "They are a top-ranked program and I think I would fit in there. Florida is close to home and playing for Florida State would be a nice in-state rivalry."

Coffee, who touts his quickness and first step as his strengths of his game, is wide open and he's not quite sure when he'll make his decision.

Over the summer he plans on attending football camps at South Florida, Miami and possibly Louisiana State.

As a junior, Coffee was selected to the 2nd team all-county team by recording 78 tackles and eight sacks.

He is an excellent student who should have no problems qualifying with a 3.8 grade point average.
