Ohio TE/LB checks out Big East School

One Liberty High School player has received a scholarship offer from the University of Pittsburgh already this month, WR Marcellus Bowman. Another Liberty player is very much on the Panther's radar. He attended the first of Pittsburgh's three junior days on March 6th. He also attended the Blue vs. Gold Spring game. Last season, he attended the Panthers home game against the Miami Hurricanes. He has also attended an Iowa game last season.

TE/LB Keith Forestal (6-4, 225, 4.6) is being pursued by Pittsburgh, Iowa, Boston College, and Kansas State. His early favorite list reads like this: Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Penn State, Iowa, and Boston College. Pittsburgh likes Keith as a LB.

So how did he like the trips to Pittsburgh?

"I really liked the environment and the coaches are very nice. They make you feel comfortable."

In 2003, Forestal made 20 catches from his TE position and was one of the leading tacklers on defense. He earned 1st team All Northeast Ohio, All-TAC 8, and All-County honors.

How do you play the game?

"I am intense. I go non-stop whistle to whistle."

What are your goals for 2004?

"I want to go undefeated and win the TAC. We were 8-2 last season and missed the playoffs."

Do you have a time frame as far as when you'd like to decide?

"I want to wait and see what happens. I'm going to check everything out."
