Dorcelus to contact the Panthers

Last season, Irvington H.S. (Irvington, NJ) ended a 15-year playoff drought as they advanced to the Group 4 playoffs. This year, according to WR Todd Dorcelus (6-2, 180, 4.5), opponents should beware.

"We're hungry. We want to get Coach Grant a ring this year. We are working hard everyday making sure we get to where we need to be. We don't have much here in Irvington except football, and we're proud of it," said Dorcelus.

Todd Dorcelus is a big fan of Larry Fitzgerald and realizes he could find stardom at one school for sure.

"I love the Pittsburgh offense. They haven't been in contact yet, but I think I may contact them. I feel like I could do the things like Fitzgerald does."

Dorcelus has established himself as one of the better wide receivers in NJ and the Atlantic Region. Last season, he had 42 receptions for 802 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was named to several post-season all-star teams including 1st Team All-Conference (Watchung), 1st team All-County (Essex), 1st Team All-Area (Northern New Jersey).

Head coach Darnell Grant raves about his star wide receiver, "Todd is a play-maker. He can stretch the field and he catches everything that's thrown at him. He is a legitimate deep threat for us. He's tremendous after the catch. He gets separation immediately from any DB. I don't care who covers him, he'll beat them."

Todd currently has offers from NC State, Indiana, Virginia, Minnesota, Kent State, Troy State, and a handful of D-1AA schools. He is expecting Syracuse to offer soon. He doesn't have a top five, but there are three schools who have his interest: Virginia, Maryland, and Michigan.

Dorcelus will camp at Virginia on June 22nd.

Todd had one thing to make sure he was quoted on, "Look out for me this season. I'm focused and I plan on living up to the hype."
