Wiggins Looking For a Home

Kevin Wiggins has a broad range of schools, but for the 6-foot-7, 320-pound offensive lineman from Washington (D.C.) Dunbar, that should only seem natural.

Kevin Wiggins Profile

"I have N.C. State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Miami, Florida State, and Pittsburgh as pretty much my top schools," says Wiggins. "I want to take a couple of official visits before narrowing my list down and cut any schools."

However, he has several aspects to recruiting which could give an idea of the teams to beat.

"The local schools stick out in my mind, but they all have a great shot."

Wiggins already visited one school for camp, and has another upcoming.

"The Maryland camp was nice. I learned more about technique, but it was also a contact camp, so that is something I liked. I have Florida State camp next week."

While Wiggins is looking at location as a key aspect in choosing a school, he has two other priorities as well.

"First is the education. I want a good school with great programs and education. I want to like the location and the weather. I want changing elements; somewhere where it is not the same weather all the time."
