PA OL Has a Top Five

Prospect Park (PA) Interboro offensive tackle Zack Anderson has been a sleeping giant throughout most of the recruiting process. The All-Delco and All-Southeastern Pennsylvania lineman is a giant in shear size alone standing in at 6-foot-6 and 260-pounds. Anderson currently has four offers from some big name programs.

"I've got offers from Pitt, Purdue, Virginia, and Akron," said Anderson. "Oklahoma, Michigan, Penn State, and Maryland are close."

Anderson has narrowed down an early top five of Pittsburgh, Purdue, Virginia, Akron, and Michigan. He spoke about his leaders.

Pittsburgh: "I like their program. My brother (Bryan) went there and he's told me a lot about their program and the type of offense they run."

Purdue: "I like their conference. I planning to take an official visit there."

Virginia: "They are a good team and I like their program."

Akron: "They have good coaches and a good program."

Michigan: "The conference and they have a good school."

Anderson hopes to take some visits before reaching an decision.

"It really doesn't matter how far the school is from home. I just want to go to college. I'm looking at the school, academics, and how they run their program."

Anderson bench presses 340-pounds, squats 370-pounds, and power cleans 300-pounds.
