Freeman finds depth in Colorado

Offensive Line coach Tom Freeman used some of his old West Coast ties to find some much needed depth for the University Of Pittsburgh Offensive Line. OL Dominic Williams (6-4, 300, 5.2) Air Force Prep School in Colorado Springs, Colorado is a late addition to the class of 2004.

Williams originally committed to St. Mary's in California but after an administrative decision to disband the football program Williams was released from his scholarship. Dominic had just finished up a stellar career as a standout football player and wrestler at Harrison High School in Colorado, before deciding on St. Mary's. Upon release from St. Mary's Williams enrolled at the Air Force Prep School in Colorado Springs where he spent two seasons under Head Coach Captain Joe Pasterello.

Dominic then took official visits to Colorado, Pittsburgh, and Washington before deciding Pittsburgh was the best fit for him.

At Harrison High School Williams was a 1st Team All-Area selection in football, and an Honorable Mention Selection All-Colorado selection in wrestling. Dominic will arrive in Pittsburgh with in the next 3 weeks to finally get his college football career underway. The Panther Report will have an interview with Dominic in the near future.
