Garcia enjoys visit

Brentwood big man John Garcia, a 6-foot-9 center/power forward from New York, said he was happy with his recent in home visit with the University of Pittsburgh.

"It was good to talk to coach (Jamie) Dixon," Garcia said tonight. "It was a chance for me to get to know him more and talk to him about the school."

Garcia has already taken an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh. "I am going to visit Pittsburgh again next weekend (September 18th)," Garcia said. "I now have a good feel for coach Dixon as a person and as a coach."

John stated he will take an unofficial visit to Villanova on Saturday (September 11th). "Coach Wright snuck in before anyone on the first day (Contact Period)," Garcia said. "I had never met him before. It was good to meet him. I plan to talk to him more tomorrow on the visit."

Garcia has also recently had St. John's in for an in home visit. "I know a lot about the coaches and the school already," Garcia said. "They laid everything out on the table for me. It was great talking to them. They told me that they will have good players around me if I go there."

Garcia plans on officially visiting St. John's on September 24th. He also plans on having an in home visit with Seton Hall. "They are coming in to see me next Monday," Garcia said. "Connecticut I am not sure of. I haven't really heard from them about taking an in home visit."
