Changes His Mind

Just over a month ago Pittsburgh (Pa.) three-star quarterback Bill Stull (6-4, 198, 4.68) had pledged to Kentucky. The University of Pittsburgh had shown little interest in the standout signal caller.

Dave Wannstedt was then hired, and things began to change. Pittsburgh showed interest in Stull and had him in over the weekend for an official visit.

According to sources close to Bill Stulls recruitment, during his official visit, Stull had a change of heart and is now committed to the University of Pittsburgh.

One of the state's top quarterback prospects, Stull threw for 2,262 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior last season in just nine games.

Scouting Report: Stull is a drop-back passer with good mobility in the pocket. He has good footwork and can escape the initial rush and buy some time. Stull possesses a very good arm and can throw with touch and velocity. He has beautiful touch on the fade pattern and has enough zip to throw the deep out. In fact, he possesses all the throws you look for in a quarterback and has a nice release.
