So with the added scholarships, has anything changed as far as Caparelli's recruitment is concerned?
"It's great that I got the new offers, but I'm not ready to talk about one over the other just yet," Caparelli stated. "I'm going to put all the schools right at the top right now. I've got another year ahead of me right now and I just wanna enjoy the experience."
The 5-foot-11, 190 pound safety/wide receiver says he has no favorite at this time and does not plan on making a decision until after his senior season.
"All the schools that have offered are great schools and I'm just very thrilled at all the attention," the Robinson High School star said. "I'm just enjoying the experience."
As a junior, Caparelli rushed for 1,910 yards and 28 touchdowns, recorded 430 receiving yards, while also having ran a punt and a kick return for touchdowns.
Although he never rooted for a favorite team growing up, he's very fond of college football.
"I'm a big fan of college football, but just never had anyone in particular that I rooted for. We just watched football and pick sides with whomever we liked that was on television."
According to Caparelli, colleges like his versatility and his willingness to never take a play off. The versatile athlete projects as a full qualifier and is concentrating on his studies for now.
"School's going very good," said Caparelli, "we're almost finished, so I'm looking forward to that, but I'm working hard. It's very challenging, but I know I gotta get it done in the classroom, like I do on the field."
