Pitt Prospect Camp: Photo Gallery

Dave Wannstedt and his coaching staff are putting the finishing touches on their first summer camp. On Friday, close to 200 prospects were in town, and Scout.com was on hand to take in the event. There's a much different vibe going around in Oakland this year, and it could even be felt at camp.

I had heard the buzz about a freakishly good young quarterback at Laurel Highlands, On Friday I got to see it first hand. He already has the body of a college football player and an arm to match.

Lock-down defensive backs are tough to find, but the Panthers may have found one in Riverview (Fla.) standout Kellen White. White holds a verbal offer from the Panthers and is hoping to make it official.

Rochester (N.Y.) wide receiver Cedric Odita made the five hour trek to camp, he showed some outstanding ball skills and athleticism.

What would a Pitt camp be without multiple players from the "Sunshine State"? Pahokee wide receiver/defensive back Tamarcus Porter looked very impressive. Porter currently holds an offer from the Panthers.

Jonathan Baldwin is entering his sophomore season for Aliquippa, he could be another Tommie Campbell type of athlete. Baldwin is a legacy prospect as his father is a former Panther.
