Visit Reaffirms His Decision

The Panthers lost their home opener, but despite the game most of the recruits who were on hand had an enjoyable experience.

Pahokee (Fla.) cornerback Ricky Gary did commit to Pittsburgh before he ever stepped foot on the campus, so after an official visit to the "Steel City" is there any reason to believe the three-star Florida corner may change his mind?

"There's nothing changing my mind, I loved it up there," Gary said."Pittsburgh is such a beautiful city, and the facilities there are really nice."

Gary, saw his Panthers on the receiving end of an upset win at the hands of Notre Dame on Saturday night.

"They'll be alright, once Coach Wannstedt gets his system in place things will be different," he said.

The 5-foot-7, 177-pound corner is now trying to sway his friend and teammate Tamarcus Porter to the Panthers.

"I'm working on him, I want him to come to Pitt with me," he said.
