Hargrove's season ends early

Baldwin (Pa.) defensive end Justin Hargrove continues to suffer hardships on the gridiron. recent medical tests confirmed what the senior had feared hearing, his senior season has ended prematurely, due to a head injury.

University of Pittsburgh commit Justin Hargrove (6-4, 240, 4.65) has informed Scout.com that he will miss the remainder of his senior season.

"I suffered a brain contusion from head to head contact," Hargrove said. "I have a little bit of bleeding in my brain."

The Pittsburgh (Pa.) Baldwin native does not expect any lasting effect from the injury.

"They said it will just take some time to heal," he said.

Hargrove missed the majority of his junior season with an ankle injury that required surgery.
