Dickerson is on Fire

A lot of fans who weren't familiar with Dorin Dickerson questioned why the folks at Scout.com rated him as the No. 4 wide receiver in the nation. If his highlight video didn't impress you, then go watch him play. With his newly added breakaway speed, he is even better then he was last year and during the spring.

Watching Dorin Dickerson play, it's easy to see why over 30 schools offered the 6-foot-3, 215 pound wide receiver, before he eventually committed to the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Dickerson has helped lead West Allegheny to a (7-1) record, despite missing six quarters with an ankle injury and playing the entire season with an injured back.

The Imperial, Pa., native eclipsed the 1,000 yard plateau on Friday night as the Indians defeated Moon 33-7. Dickerson carried 19 times for 160 yards and three touchdowns. He also added a 35-yard touchdown catch.

On the season the U.S. Army All-American has carried 112 times for 1,042 yards and 22 touchdowns. He has caught 12 passes for 269 yards and four scores. He now has scored 26 touchdowns in six and a half games.

My best guess says the Panthers will get this kid on the field from day one; he is a difference maker and a potential franchise type prospect.
