"He seems like a motivator, who would get on you if you did something wrong and he seems like if you did it right he would be your biggest fan and pat you on the back," Tilley said. "I spoke with him for about 20 minutes. He told me how bad they need lineman and that they play a lot of freshmen. He said they expect to dominate the Big East and he asked if I have ever been to Pittsburgh. He sounds like a great coach and a great guy."
Wannstedt was part of the glory years at Pittsburgh. During that time The Panthers had some great offensive lines and he made sure Tilley knew that.
"He talked about how many lineman that they have put in the NFL and how one of them now is on T.V. or the radio (Bill Fralic)."
Tilley has never been to Pittsburgh and still does not know a lot about the program. On Monday he will likely know a lot more.
"It seems like a great school I just need to learn more about them," he said.
