Panthers Land JUCO Prize

As the Panthers close on one of their best recruiting classes of all-time, there has been one key missing ingredient another potent offensive lineman. Today that problem was fixed as the Panthers land four-star prospect Jeff Otah

"I thought about it it a lot last night and I told coach (Paul) Dunn today when he came to visit I told him I was ready to be a Panther," Jeff Otah said.

The exhuberant four-star prospect Jeff Otah of Valley Forge Military Academy decided to end his recruitment and commit to the Pittsburgh Panthers today. The 6-foot-7, 340 pound, offensive tackle chose the Panthers over Michigan State, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and South carolina among other offers he was holding.

"I took my visit to South Carolina and nothing they showed me was better then Pitt," Otah said. "It's a great school and a good program that just needs a little bit of help."

The All-Conference performer knows nothing is guaranteed to him at Pitt, but the opportunity is there.

"They didn't promise me anything, but an opportunity."

Otah played his high school ball at William Penn High in Delaware, before enrolling at Valley Forge.
