RECRUITING: Pitt Has Interest In So. Haven LB

With the pending transfer of Rashad Jennings, could the Panthers be looking to add more depth at running back? Perhaps, the Pitt staff wants to add another linebacker to the mix, either way Strath Haven's Jared Bradley fits the bill.

Jared Bradley is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound athlete from Strath Haven High in Wallingford, Pa. who had a very successful season on both sides of the ball.

"My season went pretty good I played running back and outside linebacker. I led the team in rushing yards with 1,862 and 29 touchdowns. Bradley also had three sacks on defense. I also averaged 40 yards per punt," Bradley said.

The Scout.com two-star prospect is also hearing from a good number of programs that have had a lot of success on the field.

"Recruiting has been going well. The schools that are looking at me right now are Boston College, Minnesota, Iowa, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and West Virginia. Right now, my top school is Boston College. Boston College is the only school to offer. Boston College is waiting on my SAT scores and after that it will probably be a done deal."

Despite showing a great affinity towards Boston College, Bradley intends to use all of his official visits before signing day.

"I still plan to take some official visits to some of the other schools in January. I am considering five schools for my final four visits. Right now, I am not sure what those schools could do to sway me from Boston College, because I have never been to these schools and seen what they have to offer. Most of the schools are looking at me at outside linebacker, but Boston College is going to give me a chance and see where I can fit in. I prefer to play running back," Bradley reported.
