Wannstedt Visits Top Junior

Dave Wannstedt and his Pittsburgh staff have made no bones about it; Pat Bostick is the top junior on their board. He was with all intents and purposes the first junior to receive a scholarship offer from them last year. On Tuesday, Dave Wannstedt stopped by Manheim Township to pay the talented passer a visit.

Pat Bostick is not only the top junior quarterback in Pennsylvania, he is well versed in recruiting rules and regulations. The 6-3.5, 220 pound, standout informed Scout.com that Dave Wannstedt was at his school (Manheim Township) Tuesday morning.

"He was here; he couldn't talk to me so I had to initiate contact with him," Bostick said. "We talked about academics and about the whole recruiting process. It was a short conversation. He said they'd be mailing me some academic information. Academics are a pretty important thing for me."

Bostick will be heading to Pittsburgh on an unofficial visit next month.

"I'm going down there on (2/28) for junior day. I may go to Michigan at the end of this month (1/28) we'll see. My team will be going back to Pitt again for the 7-on-7 tournament again."

Dave Wannstedt has not been the only visitor to grace the halls of Manheim Township.

"UConn was supposed to come in today, but I had to leave, I only had half a day of school. Coach (Jeff) Brohm from Louisville has called up to the school also."
