Jeter back from Visit

Beaver Falls athlete Lance Jeter took his official visit to Pittsburgh. Jeter was hoping to receive an offer from the Panthers.

Lance Jeter, a 6-foot-3, 215 pound, wide receiver from Beaver Falls, Pa. took an official visit to Pittsburgh this weekend. The consensus feeling is that Pitt may offer Jeter or Perry wide receiver Aundre Wright. Did Jeter receive an offer?

"They told me they want to wait and see how I do on the SAT test January 28th," Jeter said. "Tommie Campbell was my host, I had a great time he showed me the sites and introduced me around to the players."

Jeter was impressed by the feeling he got around the Pitt staff.

"It was good. Coaches were cool, there was a good spirit there."

Jeter knows that if the Pitt deal falls through he has to have an alternate plan.

"I have to find the best fit for me and my family. I have offers from Kent State, Toledo, and Eastern Michigan. I've been hearing from West Virginia and Bowling green also."
