When asked what would factor into his final decision, Fields stated, "I want to go to the school that made me feel most comfortable. My chemistry with the incoming players will be important."

Does he feel comfortable with the stellar class assembled by Coach Wannstedt? "Yes, I like that group quite a bit. My friend Shane Brooks is there as well."

"I should have a decision by Saturday or Sunday."
