Cameron recently attended the Scout.com All-American combine in Pittsburgh, PA and performed very well. He moves well enough to be labeled a "jumbo-athlete". Pitt has already extended a scholarship offer to his teammate Jared Williams (5-foot-10 inches, 190 pounds). Williams is generally considered one of the top cornerback prospects in the WPIAL.
"I like Pitt quite a bit. I think they have a great football program and it's a great school. I would love to play there," said Holland. Cameron was asked if he was considered a "package deal" with cornerback Jared Williams. He quickly replied, "I'm not sure you could say we're a package deal but we would really like to play together. Jared and I are good friends. We also have the offensive lineman-running back relationship thing going. I open holes for him to run through. We hope to play on the same college team. It would be great if we both went to Pitt."
Holland is capable of bench pressing 360 pounds and squatting 490 pounds. He opened some eyes when he ran a 5.03 forty-yard dash the Scout.com All-American combine in Pittsburgh. Cameron has been a three-year starter on the offensive and defensive lines. He will be attending Pitt's summer football camp.
"I think I bring a lot to the position. I'm fast for my size and quick off the ball. I can use my speed to get past offensive linemen. I'm powerful as well and I have little problems using my strength to overpower people."
"I'm going to Pitt's summer camp. Hopefully I can walk away with an offer from the Panthers."
