"Hamady has had 25 scholarship offers but he narrowed it down to those three school. Coach (Joe) Lombardi has done a great job with him. We have a policy at our school. You don't visit a school unless you are dead serious about attending the school. The Panthers are very much in the mix."
N'diaye was considered a raw 6-foot-10 inch, 220 pound talent a year ago. When asked about his progress on the basketball court, Coach Mahoney replied, "Hamady has developed into a very good center. He's roughly around 6-foot-11 ½ inches and about 240 pounds right now."
"Hamady is a relentless, physical center and a great shot blocker. He' s an excellent defender that alwasy seems like he has his hand on the ball. On offense he cleans up everything around the board and he's developed a great jump shot from around the free throw line."
Coach Mahoney was quick to point out that N'diaye was equally impressive off the court. "It's worth noting that Hamady is a great kid. He's a high character type kid from a well educated family. He's a solid student that won't give you any problems off the basketball court."
"I have five kids players heading to division one schools. We're going to hold a huge press conference next week. Hamady will announce his decision at that time."
