masterghoul: Who would be your early top 10 players in PA this year?
GURU: I won't reveal that until probably in early May. I will tell you the top player will be Pat Bostick.
PittFaninMO: When will scout have more updates on player ratings?
GURU: Between May and June is when we will delve deeper into the player rankings.
ENorton: Could you please explain the current coach/recruiting area responsibilities?
GURU: They just changed a month or so ago, but I know Partridge works South Florida, Cavanaugh has part of Ohio, Rhoades works Cleveland/Erie, Gattuso Western Pa and I believe maybe part of Central Pa., Dunn Eastern Pa, Hill has DC/MD and part of Florida, Walker has New York and part of New Jersey. Bray does PA, Junko does Western Pa., Now that may have changed over the last month, but that's the way it was last I saw I believe.
masterghoul: What do you think of Mike Dykes out of Woodland Hills?
GURU: I like Dykes, but there are so many good linemen this year. On a normal year Pitt probably offers him, this year I'm not so sure.
tbro34: I know it's early, but is Nick Sukay a PSU lean?
GURU: Earlier in the year I would have said Yes, now I will say No. PSU would still have a shot if an offer is made, but he'd have to think about it. Back in February I think he may have taken it. Reno9: How would you rate Pitt's chances and what other WR's are they looking at?
GURU: How would I rate Pitt's chances at what? I'll guess and say you mean Sukay. I think Pitt has a very good shot at him, they offered early and he feels that they really want him. Toney Clemons and Lansford Watson appear to be among the top targets along with Sukay.
poonugget: In your opinion how well do you think the offensive and defensive line will be this upcoming year?
GURU: The defensive line can't get any worse for Pitt. I think the infusion of young talent and Coach Gattuso will be an improvement. The offensive line should be better, they lose Charles Spencer, but this line has some experience, and some very good young talent.
masterghoul: Would Elijah Fields make a better Safety or WR?
GURU: Scoot would be good wherever you put him. If he gets the offense he'll be a very good WR. He could be a very talented safety also. I p[personally like him at WR.
Do you think PSU will offer Henry Hynoski ? And if they do, do you think that Pitt would still lead if Pitt was the one that would give him a shot at competing for the RB/FB position. With the FB position in PSU's offense seemingly less important, does that eliminate a type of runner like Hynoski from their offense?
GURU: I wouldn't say eliminate, they would still like to use the big back in the red zone and in shirt yardage situations. I'm not sure that PSU does offer Hynoski, if they do it may depend on if he camps there and how good he looks. I think right now it would be tough to beat Pitt, I would have never said that back in February.
tbro34: I see that John Ditto finally received his PSU offer. Is he PSU's to lose?
GURU: I would be shocked if Ditto does not go to PSU.
pittee3: I have heard an estimation on the number of Scholarships available this year? I'm guessing 16-18 based on the numbers which would be a shame with all the talented players in PA this year. What's the actual total of available scholarships?
GURU: 16-18 is what my guess is, that all depends on what happens at camp also. You could have more players quit or transfer. I would say the number may end up at around 20.
masterghoul: Who would you rate as the top 10 OL in PA?
GURU: I'll give you No.1, I will say Stefen Wisniewski
ENorton: Is there any chance that Coach Bob Junko will have to give up coaching due to health issues?
GURU: Coach Junko is tougher than a $2.00 steak, he'll be fine.
Reno9: Is Toney Clemons that close w/ Darrin Walls to lean towards ND?
