Panthers have transfer O-lineman on the way

Rob was a three-year letterwinner and starter on the offensive and defensive lines at Southmoreland High School in Scottdale, PA. He played center on offense and tackle on defense, plus he handled the deep snap duties. He was a three-year selection to the Fay-West All-Star team. He was selected to the Pennsylvania Fabulous 85 team and was nominated for the Big 33 Football Classic. Rob was also named to the Pennsylvania Sports Fever Magazine Supreme Team.  Rob was recruited by the Panthers out of high school, but he decided to go to Tulsa to play with his brother Ron who is also on the team. Rob redshirted last season and had a very strong spring practice this year, grading out very highly. Rob is a big professional wrestling fan and list's his favorite athlete as Stone Cold Steve Austin. He say's his craziest ambition is to wrestle an alligator! He and 2003 recruit Afa Anoai should make quite a pair! Rob was also named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll as a true freshmen. With the Panthers lack of depth on the offensive line, Rob will be a welcome addition to the program.
