Rochester's Derek Moye has used this last week before the season to visit two of the top contenders for his services Pittsburgh and Penn State. Earlier we documented Moye's trip to Happy Valley, today we talk to him about his venture to Pitt practice on Thursday.
is quite the regular at the UPMC Complex, he was there again on Thursday afternoon for the Panthers second practice session of the day. The second practice featured most of the freshmen and younger players. Moye shared his thoughts on the split practice sessions.
"I liked how they split the practice up like that," Moye said. "It's nice that the young guys get lots of reps."
We gave Moye the chance to give us his thoughts about what wide receivers impressed the Rochester, Pa., native.
"They all looked pretty good," Moye explained. "Aaron Smith looked pretty good and so did TJ (Tamarcus Porter).
Moye has taken in practices at Pittsburgh and Penn State this week, so after seeing what college wide receivers look like, what does he need to do to get to that level.
"As I always said I need to get stronger and more physical for the next level."
Moye told us that he will likely rest a little for the remainder of the week before the Rams begin camp next week.
"I'm not planning anymore trips for a while."
