"I want to make a few official visits during the season but it's impossible because we play our games on Saturdays. It looks like I can't take any official visits until the end of the season."

Hubbard has written offers from Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Kent State, Bowling Green and Akron. He stated that his senior performance has drawn internet from a host of Big 10 schools. "The interest from the Big 10 schools have really picked up. I'm hearing a lot more from Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin and a few other Big 10 schools. They sound really interested in me visiting."

Where to the Panthers stand amongst his schools of interest? "I'm still very interested in the Panthers. They have been with me from the very beginning."

"I speak with Joe Thomas every other week. We talk a lot on the phone. He's a beast. Joe says great things about Pitt. He makes it sound like Heaven. I know he's having a solid freshman season. I figured he would."

Hubbard was named All-District, All-Conference, and second team All-County honors as a junior. Panthers' defensive coordinator Paul Rhodes has been primarily responsible for his recruitment.

"I'll wait until the end of the season and see what schools want me the most. I'm definitely going to visit Pitt. We'll see about the others. Pitt is close to home and I think they're a team on the rise. Joe (Thomas) told me they are really young."
