Bo Williams excited about Pitt visit

Bo Williams from Northeast High School in Oakland Park, FL is considered one of the top running backs in the nation. It appears that he will be the lone visitor this weekend and the Pitt coaching staff is gearing up for his visit. Read on for details.

"I'm really excited about my visit to Pittsburgh," stated Bo Williams (6-foot-1 inches, 210 pounds) from Northeast High School in Oakland Park, FL. "I'm pretty much down to Nebraska, Florida, Florida State and Pittsburgh. That's it. I'll make my decision after visiting the Panthers."

"I can't wait to get up there and hang out with Coach (Dave) Wannstedt and Coach (Charlie) Partridge." ranks Williams a "four-star" recruit and the 19th best running back in the nation. He carried the ball 180 times for 1,200 yards and scored 16 touchdowns this season.

When asked if he was open, Bo quickly replied, "Yes, totally. I liked it at Florida and Florida State but I'm wide open. Pitt probably offers the most playing time. If I like my visit this weekend the best, that's where I'm going."

"I have to feel comfortable. I don't care that Pittsburgh is out of state but I have to feel I can trust the staff and I have to feel comfortable. When you walk into your house, you feel comfortable and trusted. I have to feel that wherever I'm going."

Williams is capable of running the forty-yard dash in 4.4 seconds and squatting nearly 500 pounds.

"I think I bring a lot to the football field. I'm a combination of power and speed. I'm 6-foot-1 inches and 210 pounds of muscle. I can run around you or through you. I like to think I'm a combination of Eddie George, Bo Jackson and Tony Dorsett."

Williams attended the Dave Wannstedt Summer Football Camp held last June. He returned from camp and told the, "I thought Pittsburgh would be nice, but I was shocked. It was amazing."

"I can't wait for Friday to come and I can get on the plane to Pittsburgh."
