LeSean McCoy says ~ Pitt is it

University of Pittsburgh Head Football Coach Dave Wannstedt has been steadily assembling one of the top recruiting classes in the country. He received a commitment this weekend that will take the Panthers rankings to greater heights. Blue-chip running back LeSean McCoy has committed to Pitt.

The PantherDigest.com received word on Sunday that blue-chip running back LeSean McCoy (6-foot, 215 pounds) from Milford Academy in New Berlin, NY has verbally committed to the Panthers.

Scout.com ranks McCoy a "five star" prospect and the 8th ranked running back in the nation. As a senior, he earned first team Class AAAA Associated Press All-State honors. LeSean is the 4th running back to join the Panthers Class of 2007.
