Hill Cousins Enjoy Pitt Visit

Jeremiah Young, Jordan Hill and Lloyd Hill all made the trip together from Steelton, Pa., to Pittsburgh this weekend to take part in junior day activities and we caught up with both of the Hill boys on their car ride home. Both came away very impressed with the Pittsburgh program and coaching staff and have the Panthers high on their respective lists.

Steelton-Highspire High School has some very talented prospects in this class and two of them happen to be cousins in 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive lineman Jordan Hill and 6-foot-3, 310-pound offensive lineman Lloyd Hill. Both of them made the trip to Pittsburgh this weekend and talked about their experience with us on Sunday.

"We're actually on the way home right now," Jordan Hill said. "It was a very good visit and all of the coaches there were really cool. Coach (Brian) Angelichio and I are getting really close and I make sure and call him once a week just to say hello because he seems like a good person who is relaxed and speaks the truth. He said they're waiting to offer me until May because they need to see my SAT results."

"At breakfast Coach Angelichio came over and sat down with me, Lloyd Hill, Jeremiah Young and Jack Lippert and just talked a bit with us," Hill added. "After that we all split into groups, so I went with the defensive line coach and he showed us some film and gave me some things to work on this season. After that they talked to us about our academics in terms of core credits and SAT scores and then we went for the basketball game. Coach Angelichio spent some time with us there too and just talked about how nice it would be to see us all in Pitt uniforms next season."

"At the end of the visit I got to talk to Head Coach Dave Wannstedt one on one and he told me he'd like to see me be a Panther. He wants me to come back to camp and then be up for the spring practices. Right now they're definitely one of my top choices because I feel at home with the staff and at the school."

Lloyd Hill also gave some thoughts on the experience.

"I had a lot of fun up there and got to talk to my position coach for a while and recruiting coordinator," Hill explained. "They were both very cool and want me back up for spring practices and camp this summer. The atmosphere there was good and I really felt like I was at home. The indoor facilities and weight room were also really, really nice."

Nailing down Jeremiah Young, Lloyd Hill and Jordan Hill would obviously be a great group package for the Panthers this year.
