Bell Cuts Pitt Trip Short

At this time last year many of us gave Pitt no chance at all to land Shayne Hale and it happened. Now if you read between the lines it's probably safe to say Dorian Bell may be headed elsewhere. Bell seems a little more certain than Hale did a year ago.

Judging by what Dorian Bell had to say after his weekend trips to Penn State and Pittsburgh it would be safe to assume that neither school seems to stand a great chance at landing the No. 1 rated strong side linebacker.

The Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway five-star linebacker said Penn State was great, but they had too many linebackers. He went to Pitt on Saturday and didn't stay for the entire junior day.

Bell visited Pittsburgh on Saturday. He attended a photo shoot for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and Pittsburgh held their Blue Chip Junior Day.

"The players are cool there, but I'm just not sure how I would fit there," Bell stated. "I'm not sure if it would be the right place for me.

"I listened to the coaches a little bit, but I didn't stay for the scrimmage."
